I want to be a bee

I want to be a bee

And float around free

Among the branches of a tree

I would know my position

Out of pure intuition

I would work all day

Like I do today

And each day I would fly to my favorite flower

I would have that much power

Except there would be no ambition

And also no prohibition

I wouldn't have to compete

And no-one would force themselves to cheat

No, we would work for a purpose, a reason

To survive until next season

And we would do it together

My life would be harder, but so much better

Because we would work for each other

And help one another

I wouldn't feel afraid all the time

I would feel the support behind

I would be so happy, I would be complete

I would be a bee, all fuzzy and neat
